With a built-in rechargeable battery, SOS beep pattern and audible beacon (sound only), and operation in temperatures as low as -40°C, the NWE10 is designed for dependable outdoor use.

Please note: This is a sound signalling device. It does not transmit a GPS distress signal and is not a substitute for a registered PLB or EPIRB.

Powerful 126dB Signalling

The NWE10 delivers up to 126dB of sound output, providing a strong audible signal for outdoor communication and emergency signalling. Its 3,300Hz continuous beeping is designed to be easily recognised against natural environmental sounds.

SOS and BEACON Modes

The NWE10 features dedicated SOS and BEACON modes for emergency and location signalling. A long press can activate continuous beeping, while SOS mode provides repeated distress signalling and BEACON mode offers continuous audible location marking.

Long-Lasting Rechargeable Power

Powered by a built-in 300mAh low-temperature-resistant Li-ion battery, the NWE10 provides up to 80 hours of runtime in SOS and BEACON modes. The battery is designed to operate in temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F) and can be recharged via USB-C.

Compact and Durable Design

Weighing only 38g, the NWE10 is lightweight and easy to carry during outdoor activities. Its high-hardness plastic construction, IPX7 waterproof rating, and 1 metre impact resistance provide durability for demanding outdoor conditions.

The NITECORE NWE10 combines powerful audible signalling, emergency modes, long runtime, and a compact design, making it a practical electronic outdoor whistle for hiking, trail running, camping, outdoor adventures, and emergency use in Australia.
