NITECORE EDC37 is a compact, high-performance tactical EDC flashlight built for professionals, emergency responders, and outdoor enthusiasts. Featuring dual UHi 20 MAX LEDs, it delivers an ultra-powerful 8,000 lumens of brightness and a 420-meter beam throw, all in a rugged, pocket-sized design.
With a built-in 8,000mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, the EDC37 ensures extended runtime. Its integrated OLED display shows real-time brightness output, battery level, and remaining runtime for maximum awareness and control.
The dual tail switch system includes a primary tactical switch and a mode button, giving you quick access to five brightness levels and three advanced tactical modes: Strobe, Search, and the innovative LUMIN SHIELD™ defensive mode. The Rapid Lock™ switch locks the light during transport or storage to avoid accidental activation.
Made from PVD-coated aerospace-grade aluminum, the EDC37 is IP54 rated for dust and splash resistance and built to withstand drops from up to 2 meters. It also comes with removable ceramic glass breakers for emergency self-rescue or rescue situations.

The operating instrucions provided were too small, so I went to Nitecores website and downloaded instructions there. But, when I went to save them, my computer locked up and is unusable. I have to take it to a serviceman to get my PC to work again!

You read the reviews and think its all hype, but this little torch blew me away!
Its small and easily fits in your hand, my initial thought was it could not possibly di what it claims, well it did even more.
I work in underground mining and this is brilliant, especially the extended battery life and battery level indicator.

Do not be confused. This is a serious piece of equipment. At 8000 lumens, for a limited time, the light is incredible dor such a small device. On lower settings it is an excellent variable power torch. There are settings for 15, 100, 400 and 1500 lumens.

What an excellent piece of kit that out performs is size. The lumen output selection is super handy at the touch of a button and the 8000 lumen function is insane not to mention the strobe. It slips into the internal pocket of my cargo pants neatly and, as an emergency services worker, it gets a good workout on nightshift. Highly recommend this durable and sturdy bit of kit.

This is a beast of a torch. I removed the glass breakers and the belt clip and the torch is surprisingly ergonomic, with simple one handed operation. Battery life is phenomenal and the 3,000L search mode is more than enough for scouting trails at night. For night bushwalking, I use my NU25 on my noggin and the EDC37 in my pocket to be used as necessary. It’s a bit weighty, but worth it. I also reckon the 8,000L strobe would give the occasional wild dog I come into with a decent fright.
