The Nitecore EH1S is a specialised headlamp engineered for hazardous and high-risk environments where safety and reliability are critical. Delivering up to 260 lumens from a CREE XP-G2 S3 LED, it is powered by a single 18650 rechargeable battery and built to withstand demanding industrial conditions. Designed for mining, offshore, petrochemical and underground applications, it combines certified intrinsically safe performance with rugged durability.

Certified with Ex ib IIB T5 Gb, the EH1S is purpose-built for use in explosive and high-risk industries. Its explosion-proof construction and flame-resistant polycarbonate body ensure dependable operation in mining, petroleum, chemical and similar environments where safety is essential.
Reliable Output with Versatile Lighting Modes
The headlamp offers three brightness levels along with SOS, Location Beacon, and red lighting modes. The four integrated red LEDs provide constant and flashing outputs, ideal for signalling, preserving night vision, and low-light visibility. With a beam distance of up to 205 metres, it delivers consistent performance across a range of working conditions.
Rechargeable Power with Extended Runtime
Powered by a high-capacity 18650 rechargeable battery, the EH1S delivers up to 60 hours of runtime on low mode. The magnetic USB charging system ensures secure and convenient recharging, while built-in power indicators and low battery alerts help maintain uninterrupted operation in the field.
Durable Construction with Advanced Protection
Constructed from high-strength polycarbonate materials, the EH1S offers excellent resistance to impact and extreme conditions. Its IP68 rating provides full protection against dust and water, including submersion, while Advanced Temperature Regulation maintains stable output and prevents overheating during extended use.
